Aura & Ember began with a simple question: What if the fragrances we bring into our lives could smell incredible and be made with clean ingredients, chosen with care?

As my family navigated allergies, asthma, and eczema, I began looking more closely at the ingredients and additives in the products we used at home. What started as a search for better choices became years of learning, experimenting, and creating fragrances I was excited to share.

Eventually, I realized I wanted to build something bigger. After more than 25 years in corporate banking, I left my career to create Aura & Ember: a luxury fragrance house rooted in creativity, connection, and the belief that everyday moments deserve a little more spark.

Today, we hand-pour candles and create personal and home fragrances in downtown Pineville, just outside Charlotte. Our products are made without phthalates, sulfates, paraffin, or parabens. We choose our materials thoughtfully and create scents that feel every bit as beautiful as the moments they become part of.

Our fragrances are inspired by layered lives, bold personalities, and the streets and spirit of the Queen City. At our fragrance bar, that story becomes yours. Through candle making, fragrance workshops, and private events, we bring people together to make something they’ll remember long after the evening ends.
